Natural Geography
Having grown up in a small town Southern Ontario close to the Grand River Amanda Jenkins has always appreciated the natural environment around her. In 2020 she received a Bachelor of Geology from the University of Waterloo, but it was her love of history that led her to Toronto in 2021 to pursue a Master of Museum Studies and a Master of Information as a part of the Combined Degree Program. While she was only on this project for a few short weeks, Amanda enjoyed being able use and combine knowledge from all of her degrees. If she had more time, Amanda would have liked to look more into the environment surrounding the river including the plants and wildlife. With her research revealing how some of the natural habitats of this area have changed, the species that have called this area home have undoubtedly been changed as well.
